Volunteer

This would be to help occasionally update our main website, through refreshing of messaging, putting up / taking down events as they come and go, and ensuring the navigating process is smooth and accessible.

Knowing code or web developing is not a requirement; our system is very user-friendly and not excessively technical.

This person would learn the behind-the-scenes operation of Planning Center, our Church Operating Platform. From here they can create events, help build our church directory, and learn the operating procedures of our Church App.

Our App & Database are how we process prayer requests, life group signups, event registrations, and will eventually allow us to send church-wide emails.

We want to share our story! Rooted is not yet on Social Media, but we would love to use somebody’s gifts to get encouragement, resources, information, and connecting points to our people and the community! Facebook and Instagram would be our starting points, as we have the conversation of where to grow from there.

Mastery not required! We are looking to grow our tech team to a place where we can rotate volunteers; as of now it is frequently led by the same individuals each Sunday. If you have experience or would like to learn the areas of sound or slides, we have an awesome team that is ready to teach.

For Worship, if you have any musical background and would like to see about finding a spot within our worship team, Tyler would love to talk with you!

Our Set-up and Greeter teams have largely been unofficial. We would love to put some more structure behind them, and have a few people on rotation to help us out in either area. Set-up involves the sound equipment and chairs, while greeters will be our front-door ministers to welcome everyone on Sunday mornings and help us have even greater welcoming presence.

We have great snacks! This ministry has faithfully been led by two women at Rooted, and it would be a huge blessing to share that load with another. By providing some simple snacks and helping to make the coffee once a month, we can continue this easy way to help start conversations on a Sunday morning.
